BIOGRAPHY
TADIA (TAH - DEE - YA) is a Haitian-American multi-hyphenate: singer/songwriter, composer, Emmy-nominated director, producer, curator, community organizer, social justice advocate & entrepreneur from Brooklyn, New York.
Music has always been a passion of hers, pursuing it full time following a bachelor's and a masters' degree in Journalism.
Her music is a fusion of Neo-Soul and R&B vocal styles with Haitian Kompa, Dancehall, and African rhythms and cadence. Growing up in Brooklyn, she was heavily influenced by the many cultures that surrounded her including reggae and hip-hop.
Her music experience is very diverse ranging from her classical music studies at The Juilliard School to singing in a gospel band, "The Believers'.
She toured with French Afro artists Tay C & DADJU. She opened up World Cup Watch Event with Fridayy, Grammy-winning producer Michael Brun's BAYO Tour & booked to open for Davido.
